In 1970, Linda Perhacs was a dentist in Los Angeles and it is only thanks to one of her clients-the great composer, Leonard Rosenman (Barry Lindon, Star Trek, East Of Eden...) - that she realeased her first album: Parallelograms under the Kapp Records of Chicago.
The album is composed of tracks that she wrote during her youth spent in a very wealthy family who censured her and sent her to the prestigious USC (University of Southern California) insthead of hearing her awesome sensitiveness. This track, Hey, Who Really Cares about loneliness is so beautiful...
The record has not been sold anywhere except in Hawaï and Colorado...
It is only in 2003 that she remastered her own album to enhance its quality and made it a hit. Even the Daft Punk included one of her song ( If You Were My Man) on the soundtrack of their movie Electroma...
