Hip-Hop masterpiece from Obscure Disorder, a crew of Montreal, DC.

In the 1990s, rap in Québec had a recent boost with the release of Dubmatique's La Force de Comprendre (The Power To Understand), which combines soul music with a French hip-hop approach. French rappers like IAM, MC Solaar, Ménélik, Oxmo Puccino, Faf Larage, 2Bal2Nèg and NTM are well known in Québec, they demonstrate the viability of French rap in this Francophone area.

Nonetheless, certain Montreal rap groups like Shades of Culture, Obscure Disorder and Eye Spy Crew continue to perform in english although their influence is restricted to the Montreal region.

Obscure Disorder was formed in 1995 while Science, Eclipse, Logik, Dave One and A-Track were still at school. By then, they never thought they would create a dent in the Montreal hip-hop movement. They released this track on their own two years later...
